Terms & Conditions

Last updated:

1. About

is an online marketplace where people in Ghana can advertise items and services and contact each other. By creating an account, posting an ad, or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a legal agreement. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One person, one account. Don't create accounts to get around a ban or a limit.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.

4. Posting ads

  • You may only post items or services you are allowed to sell.
  • Ads must be honest: a clear title, an accurate description, the real price and location, and real photos of the actual item.
  • Use your own photos, or photos you have permission to use.
  • Give a working WhatsApp number. It will be shown to people who view your ad, so that they can contact you.
  • Don't post the same ad again and again, or post ads in the wrong category.

5. Prohibited items

You must not post ads for:

  • Anything illegal in Ghana, including illegal drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit or fake goods, and items that infringe someone's rights.
  • Weapons, ammunition and explosives.
  • Human beings, human body parts, or protected animals and animal parts.
  • Adult sexual content or services.
  • Scams, "get rich quick" schemes, pyramid schemes, fake jobs, or requests for advance payment with nothing in return.
  • Personal data of other people, or anything that harasses, threatens or discriminates against others.

6. Reviewing and removing ads

New ads are reviewed before they appear on the site. We may approve, reject, edit, take down or delete any ad, and suspend or close any account, at any time and without notice, if we believe these terms have been broken, or to protect our users. Approval of an ad does not mean we have checked that the item or the seller is genuine.

7. Buying and selling

only provides the place where ads are shown. We are not a party to any sale. We don't own, inspect or guarantee any item, we don't handle payments, and we can't guarantee that buyers or sellers are who they say they are. Any deal is between you and the other person.

Please follow our safety tips: meet in a public place, inspect the item before paying, and never pay in advance to someone you haven't met.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the text and photos you post. By posting them, you give a free licence to store, display, and promote them on and around the site for as long as your ad is live. You promise that you have the right to post them and that they don't break anyone else's rights or the law.

9. Fees

Posting a normal ad is currently free. If we introduce paid features, such as promoted ads, we will show the price clearly before you pay.

10. Our responsibility

We work to keep the site running and safe, but we provide it "as it is", and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, is not responsible for losses that come from deals between users, from ads or messages posted by users, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ghanaian consumer law that cannot legally be limited.

11. Ending your account

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue after that, such as those about content and responsibility, will continue to apply.

12. Changes and law

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana will handle any dispute.
